Ok, so I’m hardly your typical Royalist but I have to admit that after going to a Jubilee party in my street and watching all the boats and people that came out in the pouring rain to see the Queen ride down the Thames I’m really caught up in it all!! It’s a bit of a cliche but today made me feel so proud to be British that I even bought myself a Union Jack vest top that I’ve proudly been wearing all day. In case you’re wondering I also wore leggings and a bra, (I didn’t go to a street party dressed exactly the same as the picture…….I do have some sense of decorum!!) I realise of course that not everybody shares my enthusiasm for the Royals but just for this weekend I’m going to have to raise two fingers and give you a chesty blast of the national anthem!!!
